Revealed in North America last October at the Annapolis Boat Show, the new Oceanis 38 has been enjoying tremendous success at the winter shows in Toronto, Chicago, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, and Miami. The new concept has also met worldwide acclaim with three prestigious awards in the space of six months:

  •  Best Boat 2014 by Sail Magazine in the 31 to 40-foot monohull category
  •  European Yacht of the Year 2014 in the family cruiser category
  •  NMMA Innovation Award 2014

The Oceanis 38 was one of thirteen marine products honored for innovative achievement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) at the 2014 Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show last month.

“Beneteau has found a way to attract younger families to sailing with this convertible boat that grows with you. It’s almost enough to turn you from power to sail,” said Roger McAfee.

Indeed, the Oceanis 38 takes performance-cruiser customization to a whole new level with three distinctive starting configurations that can evolve with your sailing style and preferences: Daysailer, Weekender or Cruiser.
